FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Short, factual answers about what Claim Harbor is, what it isn't, and how plans and billing work.
What is Claim Harbor?
Claim Harbor is an RCM performance review and reporting tool. You enter de-identified summary billing metrics for a reporting period, and Claim Harbor calculates revenue cycle KPIs, compares them to directional review ranges, surfaces insights and follow-up priorities, and produces professional reporting.
Is Claim Harbor medical billing software?
No. Claim Harbor does not create claims, post payments, or manage billing operations. It is a review and reporting layer that sits alongside the systems that already produce your billing numbers.
Does it replace my EHR or PM system?
No. Claim Harbor does not replace an EHR, a practice-management system, a clearinghouse, a claim submission system, or an outsourced billing service.
Does Claim Harbor submit claims?
No. Claim Harbor has no claim submission capability and no payer connectivity.
Does Claim Harbor require an integration?
No. There is no integration to configure. You enter summary metrics manually for each reporting period.
What data do I enter?
Period-level summary figures: total charges, total payments, contractual adjustments, total A/R, A/R over 90 days, claims submitted, denied claims, clean claim rate (as a percentage or a count), and the number of days in the period. Claim Harbor is designed for de-identified summary metrics and is not intended for Protected Health Information.
What does Free include?
Free includes recurring check-ins, calculated KPIs, the dashboard, directional insights, the KPI Library, and report preview behavior. Structure limits depend on account type: a Solo Provider workspace covers a single provider, a Group Practice includes 1 tracked provider, and a Billing Company includes 1 client practice with an unlimited provider roster within that client.
What is different about Pro?
Pro is $39/month for solo providers and group practices. It adds unlimited tracked providers for a group practice, trends across reporting periods, provider comparisons, and report export, save, and share functionality.
What is different about Agency?
Agency is $149/month for billing companies and RCM firms. It adds unlimited client practices, unlimited providers within each client, multi-client reporting, and client-ready report and PDF export functionality.
Do you charge per provider or per client?
No. There is no per-provider or per-client billing on paid plans. Pro is a flat $39/month and Agency is a flat $149/month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month and can be cancelled from your workspace settings. Paid access continues through the current paid billing period after cancellation.
What happens to my existing data after downgrade?
Your practices, providers, saved check-ins, and saved reports remain in your workspace. Free plan structure limits apply again to what you can add, and paid report export, save, and share functionality is locked until you upgrade.
Can billing companies use different workflows for different clients?
Yes. Managed workflow areas can be set at the account level and overridden per client practice, so each client's review reflects the services you actually manage for that client.
